A good blog…

Murasaki BJJ keeps an interesting training diary… the guy is basically training himself not too far from me in Japanland… and has some very good insights.

I particularly liked this post.

MARCH MADNESS!

FIGHTLINKER! The best (only?) comedy-themed MMA news site out there is going through something called MARCH MADNESS!

Basically, they are poor, and one of their asses is being held together by staples, or something. I don’t quite know what’s going on, but I know they want money.

Hang on, this isn’t going very well.

Wait.

Fightlinker is awesome, and FREE! Constantly updated blog posts, a very funny podcast, an amusing comic and occasional videos just keep on coming. This month, they are pulling out all the stops to give readers a preview of just how awesome the site was if it were a full time, revenue-generating project for them.

So get on over to the site, sign up for the forums, listen to the podcasts, and laugh your tits off. If you like it, then join the Fightlinker army, which costs almost nothing and ensures that the hilarious and factually suspect stories will keep coming and coming!

Mogwai Combat

Mogwai Combat

Click on the link to be taken to my buddy Hobo’s blog. It’s just started, and he needs all the help and support he can get. Especially comments telling him you like his haircut, or that he looks stupid in shorts.

I persuaded him to start blogging for my own selfish reason; I just think he’s really funny and want to read the ramblings that spew forth from his brain.

Ostensibly, the premise for the blog is that he has basically mastered the Wing Chun kung fu system and is looking for something else to get his teeth into. He has discoved Krav Maga, and so will be chronicling his adventures in this mysterious and violent martial art that involves beating people up with bycicle seats and disarming terrorists using only your elbows or some chewing gum.

Check it out.

Editor of Fighters Only Mag starts a blog.

Hywel Teague, editor of Fighters Only magazine, has started his own blog, Notes from Ringside. There’s all kinds of MMA and BJJ related goodness in there, as well as the odd scoop that he is able to scoop with his well-connected scooping devices.

I’m lucky enough to count Hywel as a reader of my humble scribblings, and so I direct you to his blog to return the favour.

Coincidentally, if you see Fighters Only on the shelf at your local magazine store, pick it up, it’s a great read. I especially like the guest editorials, especially when they’re written by me.
